Make You Smarter Blog - In a brand new update to the game Angry Birds Rio from Rovio Mobile, there are 30 brand new levels and 15 hidden golden watermelons. It’s easier to spot them than the previously hidden bananas and pineapples. Simply look for boxes, grass, or watermelons with ashipping label on them and you’ll be on the right track to get all the golden watermelons. Here, for your enjoyment are the locations of the watermelons that I’ve found so far. If you find others before I do, please post them in the comments.
Level 5-2 Golden Watermelon
Zoom out to see the box to the far right, you can get it with the yellow bird
Level 5-5 Golden Watermelon
Smash the TNT to get the rocks to shoot to the right. This will trigger the drop of a crate from the sky that contains the watermelon.
Level 5-11 Golden Watermelon
It sits in the box right in the center of the level. Use as many birds as you need to in order to smash the crate.
Level 5-13 Golden Watermelon
Zoom out to see a watermelon up in the tree with a label on it. Use the ricochet of the white bird after dropping it's egg in order to get it.
Level 5-14 Golden Watermelon
Zoom out to see a crate up in the sky. Use the ricochet of the white bird after dropping it's egg in order to get it.
Level 5-15 Golden Watermelon
Look for the block of sand with a label on it. Use all the birds in order to get it.
Level 6-2 Golden Watermelon
Smash the grass with the label on it to get the egg to drop from the sky. You then need to hit it in mid-air with one of your other birds.
Level 6-3 Golden Watermelon
Look for the box with the label on it. It's easiest to get the far structure to collapse on top of it.
Level 6-4 Golden Watermelon
Look for the crate with the label on it. It's not hard to smash.
Level 6-5 Golden Watermelon
Hit the ground where the label is. This will make the watermelon appear on the ground underneath the hanging monkey.
Level 6-6 Golden Watermelon
In the large crate. You can get it with a well placed yellow bird.
Level 6-7 Golden Watermelon
Hidden in the grass
Level 6-9 Golden Watermelon
Under the launch pad. Bounce your birds backwards off the umbrella by the inter-tubes.
Level 6-12 Golden Watermelon
In the middle of all the umbrellas. Use the yellow bird to get it.
Level 6-14 Golden Watermelon
In the large crate on the ground to the far right.
